Transparency

Transparency in all matters has been a key issue in Rivers.Global since day one, in June 2018. Another key issue has been to keep the costs for administration as low as possible. That’s why we so far have not spent money on auditor and external controls. Our accouting has however been open to everyone, and our internal control with a competent Board has always been in place. We are ready to spend 20.000 NOK on external controls as soon as a significant contributor asks for it or our budget volume reaches a significanttly higher niveau. NGO’s like Rivers.Global are obliged to hire an auditor when the budget volume exceeds 5 million NOK, around 500.000 USD. We will hire an auditor long before that, probably from a yearly income of around USD 50.000,-
